|Tokiwadai Midsummer Festival|

Normally, Tokiwadai Dormitory is closed off to the public, however, during the middle of summer, the dormitory opens it's doors to the public for one day. On this day the students of the Tokiwadai Dormitory dress up in maid outfits and serve the guests by giving them pamphlets, and showing them around the dormitory where events are being held. The student's are also allowed to invite guests, though the exact number of how many guests one can invite is unknown. The Tokiwadai Dorm Supervisor also has the privilege to invite her own guests as well. Student's from the Tokiwadai Dormitory in School Garden, are allowed to take part of the festivities by serving guests or being guests themselves.
Tokiwadai Dormitory also employs members of Anti-Skill for security purposes, and are allowed to enjoy the festivities as well. Both Tokiwadai students and guests are provided meals during the events.
Throughout the day, guests are provided a variety of events and actitvities to take part in. Below is a list of known classes and events that are held during the festival.

- Item Auction - Tokiwadai students donate their possessions, where other Tokiwadai students as well as guests can bid for them. According to Konori Mii, the proceeds of the auction will go to help Child Errors, all around the country.
- Student Performance - A student is picked to give a performance on stage for people to view.
Toaru Kagaku no RailgunEdit

The midsummer festival is first shown in episode 19 of the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun anime, the episode displays the various events that occur during the festival and Tokiwadai student's role in it. During this episode, Misaka Mikoto is shown to be the one picked for the student performance at the festival, however she feels uneasy and nervous during the entire day; her uneasiness is later calmed after the appearance of Kamijou Touma, who is looking for a lost Index.
