LyricsEdit

Japanese English Translation
Komorebi no naka wo futari aruiteta itsumo

Waraiau koto ga atarimae no you ni

The two of us were always walking in the light that shined through the trees,

Taking the fact we could laugh together for granted.

Tomodachi tte kotoba sono hibiki dake de zutto

Soba ni irareru to omotteta nani ga atte mo

Since the moment I heard the word "friends" ring out,

I've felt that we could always be together, come what may.

Itsu datte wakeatta kimochi wa mada koko ni

Ikidzuite iru kara anata wo shinjiru yo

The feelings we shared always remain here -

They're still breathing, so I believe in you.

Aitai to negau kara watashi wa tsuyoku nareru yo

Donna kurayami demo yamanai ame no naka mo

Because I wish to see you, I can become stronger,

Even in any darkness, or within the unceasing rain.

Kono koe ga kaze ni nori inori ga todoku nara

Anata wo torimodoseru sono toki made

If this voice of mine rides on the wind and delivers my prayer,

I can bring you back. Until then...

Shinjiru tte kokoro te ni ireta no nara sore wa

Taisetsu na hito wo mamorinuku chikara ni naru

When you've found a heart that believes,

It will turn into the power to protect the people important to you.

Dare datte kotoba ni wa dekinai yasashisa to

Yowasa wo ryoute ni ashita wo matteru yo

Along with the kindness that no one can put into words,

I carry my weakness in my arms and wait for tomorrow.

Dakishimete dakishimete to anata no koe ga kikoeru
Itsuka waraiatta sono hitomi ga yureru
Hug me – when we embrace, I can hear your voice.

Those eyes I once laughed together with are quivering.

Oboeteru? omoidashite inori wa toki wo koe

Ashita e michibiiteku hikari ni naru

Do you remember? Try to recall. My prayer will cross through time and space

And turn into a light that will lead us to tomorrow.

Inori wa todoku ryoute nobashite

Tadoritsuku saki anata ga iru

My prayer goes through, and I spread my arms -

At the place where I arrive, you are there.

Aitai to negau kara watashi wa tsuyoku nareru yo

Donna kurayammi demo yanamai ame no naka mo

Because I wish to see you, I can become stronger,

Even in any darkness, or within the unceasing rain.

Kono koe ga kono inori ga sekai wo tsutsumikomu

Ashita ni tsudzuku kioku kizamareteku

This voice, this prayer of mine, envelops the world.

Memories that continue to tomorrow are being engraved.

Note: In verse 9, toki ("time") is written as jikuu ("space-time") in the booklet.
