Pasticceria Manicagni is an Italian pastry shop and cafe in School Garden. It is a medium sized building that can accommodate a number of customers. It is located near a fairly populated thoroughfare in the School Garden where passing students can see a small statue of a mustachioed Italian man advertising the shop's products on a small chalkboard. The restaurant is notable enough to be featured in a magazine.

Level Upper Incidents

The pastry shop is featured during episode 3 of the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun anime. This was Saten Ruiko's intended destination when she and Uiharu Kazari was invited by Shirai Kuroko to School Garden. After Ruiko changes into a Tokiwadai Middle School uniform when her own school uniform got wet, she and Kazari alongside Kuroko and Misaka Mikoto, enter Pasticceria Manicagni to order some of their famous pastries.

After considerable delay with Kazari being picky on what to order, she and Kuroko promptly leave as they have Judgment duty. After ordering their pastries, Ruiko goes into the restroom, however she is attacked by Jufuku Miho, after mistaking Ruiko for a Tokiwadai student, she later draws thick eyebrows on her with a marker. Before losing consciousness Ruiko sees the face of her attacker, which later turn out to be a key, confirming that Miho is the culprit for the recent spree of assaulting and eyebrow-drawing related crimes on Tokiwadai students.
