Oyafune Suama (親船 素甘, Oyafune Suama^?) is the daughter of Oyafune Monaka, and is a math teacher at Kamijou Touma's school. She notes herself that she has to rely on high-quality clothes and make-up to make herself look good at her age, though from the narrative in the novels she would be a beauty if she takes off her glasses. Regardless of her good looks, Oyafune believes herself to be unattractive and thus carefully molds her outer appearance; she also displays an strict personality and seems to lack talent at knitting.

She has been shown to become extremely angry if she gets involved in any type of accident that will end up with her in a unsightly position; needless to said she has been involved with Touma's bad luck in more than one opportunity... And her reaction to said unsightly situations was so bad that she went to hit or attempt to hit Touma, even though she holds a teaching position.^[1]

Even though her mother is one of the 12 people in the Board of Directors, she has not shown any connection with the dark side of Academy City so far, from her's mother deep and loving care for Suama, it is hinted that she has a good relationship with her.^[2]
