He is a tall man with dark-bluish hair, he also wears glasses.
He is a kind and cheerful man, and as such, much beloved by his students. He is also reliable enough to keep the Tokiwadai Dorm Supervisor out of harm's way during her time when she running an errand while being dazed for being around him. He states that he likes to cook a lot and has a strong desire to marry, stating that it is his dream to stand with a wife in a kitchen after marrying. He also states that his ideal partner is someone who he can admire, someone who can act for others instead of themselves.
He is a teacher in Sakugawa Middle School, and is influential enough to give requests on having a student become a roomate of another, as with the case between Erii moving into Kazari's room. He also volunteers in Cypress Park, where he takes care of and plays with Child Errors alongside Shigenomori Kazuko, who he has affections for.
Chronology (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun)Edit

He first appears in episode 18 of the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun anime. Here he is shown to be a volunteer of Cypress Park and introduces Shigenomori Kazuko, the principal of Cypress Park, to Saten Ruiko and Uiharu Kazari who "volunteered" to work in Cypress Park. He is also shown to be on friendly terms with the Tokiwadai Dorm Supervisor, able to talk casually with her.
The next day Shirai Kuroko, Uiharu Kazari, Saten Ruiko and Misaka Mikoto, plan to get Daigo and the Tokiwadai Dorm Supervisor together. Because of this Daigo and the Dorm Supervisor are alone and are tasked to bake a cake, here Daigo reveals that he is looking for wife, which embarasses her, unfortunately the flour gets spilled by Tokiwadai Dorm Supervisor and they are forced to buy one, while she is dazed as she is with Daigo, forcing him to keep her out harm's way. Later, during a birthday party, Daigo reveals that his ideal partner is someone he can admire, and are then accused of being a couple by the children, much to the Dorm Supervisor's embarrassment. However, a Poltergeist earthquake occurs, and the Dorm Supervisor is able to show her calmness and command the children to take cover, she also saves a boy from being hit by a falling object, making Daigo say that he admires her.
Daigo later calls the Tokiwadai Dorm Supervisor to go to JonaGarden Family Restaurant, where he asks her for advice regarding marrying women older than he is. She later tells him that age is no matter in a relationship, and thanks her for the advice. The next day the Tokiwadai Dorm Supervisor meets up with Daigo in Cypress Park, where the latter is surprised to see her dress differently. Here, Daigo tells her of his plan to propose to someone, though it is not her, she discovers that Daigo is referring to Shigenomori Kazuko, the principal of Cypress Park, and wishes him happiness. Daigo thanks her afterwards.
Daigo is next seen during the height of the Polteregist earthquakes, asking Kazari if she felt any, Daigo then introduces Kazari to Haruue Erii, a new transfer student, and asks Kazari to allow her to be her roommate, which she agrees. During this scene, Daigo is seen wearing a ring in his ring finger, indicating that he has already, and has successfully proposed to Kazuko.
He is last seen with Kazuko, alongside the children of Cypress Park, looking up the sky to see the student's of Kiyama Harumi giving her a message on a blimp for her birthday.
