This is neither a short nor a long blog post from yours truly, but it's something that may be enough to pique your interest.
So Loremaster from AnimeSuki stumbled upon a piece of speculation involving the current flow of the story. (The link to the original discussion is found here.) This covers what we know from the "Old Testament" and the first two volumes after VS the World, and it also speculates the involvement of Misaka Mikoto as told in the afterword of NT12.
The concepts of NT12 and OT2 cross in more than one way. OT2’s afterword alone reminded me strongly of St. Germain who we’ve seen as the main villain of NT12. They pretty much fit all the characteristics of a true alchemist Kamachi explained in OT2’s after word.
But that isn’t the on…

According to Miki, editor-in-chief at Dengeki Bunko, there are still three more projects that apparently didn't meet the deadline for the Kamachi 10th anniversary project and he wants fans to look forward to them in the future. I guess we should expect something for the upcoming 2015 Fall fes.

As part of the Kamachi Kazuma 10th Anniversary Celebrations, Kamachi wrote a short story that was released a prize in the Ichiban Kuji lottery (Announcement #5).
The short story is titled Toaru Hourou no Imagine Breaker or A Certain Wandering Imagine Breaker. For a while, we had no details about the contents of the short story. Luckily, Debi from Trigger Happy End made a blog post about it here. (Its all in Japanese though. Also, no pictures for the SS).
The story occurs in the first 10 days of September (again) putting it somewhere between OT6 and OT7 (or between the 2 anime seasons if that's how you remember it ). (My guess is that it occurs on September 6 or 7th considering there is no other time that this could occur).
In a nutshell:

It has come to my attention that esper power, arguably the most used and shown supernatural power in the series (in that most of the action take place in Academy City, and there are the two spin offs), is actually still in the vague on many parts. We supposedly have the mechanics, but not in full, and the backstory is sketched at best. Here is a rundown of the unknowns of power development of which we haven't received a full explanation:
- According to Tsukuyomi Komoe, Level 0s are an anomaly, since the Power Curriculum Program can theoretically allow people to gain their own personal reality, and therefore powers if they consume enough "curriculum". So why do they exist, and why are they the majority of esper population?
- The Power Curriculum …

I saw that in the afterword of NT vol 12 that sentence It’s about time for Mikoto to have her turn in the spotlight, isn’t it? so does that mean we will see her give touma the rings after the st germain incident, i doubt it will be like vol 11 where we see her past, just wanted some input on it.Read more >

A little thing which I've been thinking about in my spare time is what a possible future Toaru fighting game could be like, if one was to be made. In terms of fighting games featuring the Toaru series, there was the PSP game released in early 2011 as well as Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax in 2014, but those two have left a fair amount of ground still to be covered and perhaps a little bit to be desired.
In the construction of such a game, there are various choices to be made. For example, what sort of fighting game, seeing as there are various different types (e.g. the 3D style of the 2011 Toaru PSP game, the 3D line-based/side-on style of the Soul series, the 2D style of the Arc System Works fighters/Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax etc), what…Read more >

With Christmas just around the corner, though not for a little while in the series itself, I thought it might be a good time to ask this question and have a little fun speculating possible answers.

I just think about some interesting topics here.... If the pair is made up, which do you think the most interesting to see? or you can choose your favourite pair instead and prove your point why do you think they are the most interesting..... you can pick in any aspects. battle, compatibility, dangerous combination, mutual feelings and so on.... You can also make your own pair if you don't want to pick one in my list. Well, I'm a human, I can't remember everything but I try my best! Just want to survey what are the Raildex fans think if two characters make a pair.... :) (Most pair I make might come from the series itself)

Magic is kinda like religious dogma. It has its origins; its laws; its rites; and badass prize if you fulfill all requirements. Wikipedia has an interesting (but really, really long) article about it, and the forms it takes, and, while I was reading it, I was stuck by how much of it figured in ToAru at one point or another (for example, there is a list of magic traditions at the bottom of the page, of which many featured in the series at one point or another: Alchemy, Black Magic, Vodou, Kabbalah, Hermeticism, Onmyoudou, Shinto, Sigil magic, Thelema, Witchcraft). So I decided to compare how magic works in ToAru verse and how it 'works' here.
I decided to not make use of the Wikipedia article since it would be...well, too long. Instead, I rece…Read more >

So it was announced a while back on the Kamachi Kazuma 10th Anniversary website that Toaru Majutsu no Index Kamachi Kazuma and Durarara!! author Narita Ryohgo (both series celebrating 10 years of publications) would collaborate together for piece in the Dengeki Versus Official Pirate Book.

First of all, this blog post is my offical debut on the wiki after months of lurking under the alias of "A Wikia contributor", so: Hi all!
I looked around and didn't see a similiar post, so I thought I share my thoughts. There are countless types of esper powers and we rarely see two people with exactly the same ones. I was thinking to myself the other day, how do the Raildex animes holdup by themselves and I thought it would be a great discussion piece. Unfortunately I am the only person I know actively enjoys the series and I figured there might be others out there lack the capabilities of being able to actively talk about the show in a conversation as well. So here I am on the wiki starting a conversation/discussion/debate about the Raildex animes feel free to jump in and keep the fun going, but try to stick to these rules to help avoid it becoming a flame war.

Since the NT10 preview has been translated, most of us already got a sneak peek of the volume. In the prologue, it was shown that the Level 5s are being mobilized to murder Kamijou Touma along with Magic God Othinus. So, what do you think guys? Will he fight the Level 5s 1v1 each should they spread in Denmark, or will he fight them all at once should they stick together and find him? Also, if it is the latter, do you think the TouMAN can defeat them all at once? You know, 1v7?Read more >

As we all know, the identity of No.6 is one of the most controversial thing in the Toaruverse, along with the other things mentioned in the blog name. That is why after some thinking, I've come up with a theory about these things. Also, if this seems familiar, well, I've already posted a part of this as an anon-user in the form of a plot-twist comment in a simillar blog to this.
This is my theory:
Aogami Pierce is Kihara Amata's son that was indeed raised by Amata, but soon defected from the Kihara ways, hid in a bakery, dyed his hair blue, wore some piercings, intentionally slinting his eyes, and registering as a highschool student in A Certain High School. Here he meets Touma and Motoharu. He also eventually becomes acquainted with Misaki …Read more >
I'm guessing quite a few have already heard but the Index LNs have been licensed by yen press for official translations. Now in my honest opinion this is quite a problem. With 32 volumes already released excluding the side stories it will take maybe 10 years or so for the LN to reach the current progress by when I'm quite sure Kazuma Kamachi sensei would have already released his next hit series. SAO has been licensed and BT has already given up on it. Does the same fate await the Index series? Various pieces of concept art have been made and released for characters and objects within the Toaru series, most of which can be found on Haimura's website Rainbow Spectrum (and on here). While many characters have had concept art done for them and released, there are still plenty which haven't.

We all know the Toaru series has a huge number of characters, many of whom are capable of handling themselves in a fight. The Index PSP fighting game released in 2011 only had around 16 selectable characters (14 playable, 2 support) - hardly any of them. With the huge cast of the Toaru series and limited space available, it is understandable that many characters would be left out - but if another such game was being constructed with greater capacity, which ones should be included?
This is my question:
Supposing another game of the same type as the Index PSP game was being constructed, this time with room for 50 selectable characters, some fighters and some support, and it covered all of the story so far - including the essential characters, who …Read more >
Index III - something which many Toaru fans are waiting for and have been doing so for a long time. Many also think about stuff beyond that, seeing as there are too many volumes to be animated within a mere 24 or so episodes.
One thing that quite a few people have likely thought about, when considering what a future Index anime series may be like, is which volumes would be used in which series and how they would be spread out in that series. The selection for a single series is limited depending on what can be covered in the episodes available, as well as the content of the volumes themselves. If done wrongly, the result will be that things get rushed or drag on for too long, and stuff important to the story will be left out.

Since I am not a keen manga reader/anime viewer, I can barely judge whether an anime is of good quality, especially on grounds of drawing. However, I really like the anime adaptations of the series, both Index and Railgun. Therefore, I watch the series over and over again. And everytime I do it, while I am overwhelmed by epic fights, deeply touched by heartwarming friendship, there goes this unbearable irritation.
This thing has been bugging me so much that I think I should have a blog dedicated to it instead of just a comment.
That is the POINT OF VIEW (POV). The direction in which you get to see the mov…
