First of all, this blog post is my offical debut on the wiki after months of lurking under the alias of "A Wikia contributor", so: Hi all!
I looked around and didn't see a similiar post, so I thought I share my thoughts. There are countless types of esper powers and we rarely see two people with exactly the same ones. (Excluding the Sisters, of course.) But! I noticed, that they can be easily grouped together in a few main categories. (Well, Science loves categorization, even in real life, so it's natural.) Here is my list:

I was thinking to myself the other day, how do the Raildex animes holdup by themselves and I thought it would be a great discussion piece. Unfortunately I am the only person I know actively enjoys the series and I figured there might be others out there lack the capabilities of being able to actively talk about the show in a conversation as well. So here I am on the wiki starting a conversation/discussion/debate about the Raildex animes feel free to jump in and keep the fun going, but try to stick to these rules to help avoid it becoming a flame war.
1. This discussion is about the animes, how good they are for a stand-alone anime as well as an adaption of source material not exactly source material itself. e.g. “Has Good animation”,…Read more >

Since the NT10 preview has been translated, most of us already got a sneak peek of the volume. In the prologue, it was shown that the Level 5s are being mobilized to murder Kamijou Touma along with Magic God Othinus. So, what do you think guys? Will he fight the Level 5s 1v1 each should they spread in Denmark, or will he fight them all at once should they stick together and find him? Also, if it is the latter, do you think the TouMAN can defeat them all at once? You know, 1v7?Read more >

As we all know, the identity of No.6 is one of the most controversial thing in the Toaruverse, along with the other things mentioned in the blog name. That is why after some thinking, I've come up with a theory about these things. Also, if this seems familiar, well, I've already posted a part of this as an anon-user in the form of a plot-twist comment in a simillar blog to this.
This is my theory:
Aogami Pierce is Kihara Amata's son that was indeed raised by Amata, but soon defected from the Kihara ways, hid in a bakery, dyed his hair blue, wore some piercings, intentionally slinting his eyes, and registering as a highschool student in A Certain High School. Here he meets Touma and Motoharu. He also eventually becomes acquainted with Misaki …Read more >
I'm guessing quite a few have already heard but the Index LNs have been licensed by yen press for official translations. Now in my honest opinion this is quite a problem. With 32 volumes already released excluding the side stories it will take maybe 10 years or so for the LN to reach the current progress by when I'm quite sure Kazuma Kamachi sensei would have already released his next hit series. SAO has been licensed and BT has already given up on it. Does the same fate await the Index series? I have only gotten into the series recently and am currently reading the translated LNs (currently in vol. 20) and there is no way i can handle being unable to read the future volumes. Various pieces of concept art have been made and released for characters and objects within the Toaru series, most of which can be found on Haimura's website Rainbow Spectrum (and on here). While many characters have had concept art done for them and released, there are still plenty which haven't.
My question is this:
Out of the various characters and stuff which haven't had concept art yet (so far as is known), which ones would you like to receive it?Read more >
We all know the Toaru series has a huge number of characters, many of whom are capable of handling themselves in a fight. The Index PSP fighting game released in 2011 only had around 16 selectable characters (14 playable, 2 support) - hardly any of them. With the huge cast of the Toaru series and limited space available, it is understandable that many characters would be left out - but if another such game was being constructed with greater capacity, which ones should be included?
This is my question:
Supposing another game of the same type as the Index PSP game was being constructed, this time with room for 50 selectable characters, some fighters and some support, and it covered all of the story so far - including the essential characters, who …Read more >
Index III - something which many Toaru fans are waiting for and have been doing so for a long time. Many also think about stuff beyond that, seeing as there are too many volumes to be animated within a mere 24 or so episodes.
One thing that quite a few people have likely thought about, when considering what a future Index anime series may be like, is which volumes would be used in which series and how they would be spread out in that series. The selection for a single series is limited depending on what can be covered in the episodes available, as well as the content of the volumes themselves. If done wrongly, the result will be that things get rushed or drag on for too long, and stuff important to the story will be left out.
This is my questi…Read more >
This is completely my personal opinion. I would like to hear yours. Please leave your comments and tell me whether you agree with me or not.
Since I am not a keen manga reader/anime viewer, I can barely judge whether an anime is of good quality, especially on grounds of drawing. However, I really like the anime adaptations of the series, both Index and Railgun. Therefore, I watch the series over and over again. And everytime I do it, while I am overwhelmed by epic fights, deeply touched by heartwarming friendship, there goes this unbearable irritation.
This thing has been bugging me so much that I think I should have a blog dedicated to it instead of just a comment.
That is the POINT OF VIEW (POV). The direction in which you get to see the mov…

After doing some research I had decided on taking the railgun and index animes and editing them together to make them into the singular format of a series of feature length movies. I think I have rough idea how they fit together on a scene-by-scene basis and I am going to start making a list on where to put what. This project will probably be a very long one for several reasons:
NT9 was... wow.Read more >
Ok guys, let me share what I was thinking.
After ready the NT4 volume, I felt that this volume could be turn into a movie, because it would be very sad if a volume who is a mark for the story would be just part of another season. So I start to question if the story be told by seasons would be that great. I like the two seasons so far but I don't think this would be the best for the story. Besides the fact that the season 3 might end in the end of volume 19. The season 4 would be a Mix of 3ww and start of new testament (and the climax of the first series would be cut off).
So the was what I think, making the rest of the story as isolates Arcs could be much more detailed and elaborated.
So, what do you guys think?Read more >
One of the things that I sometimes wonder about is who would voice certain currently-unvoiced characters, if and when the time comes for them to be voiced.
For some characters, someone in particular may spring to mind fairly quickly, for others several, some are less certain, and there are often a few possibilities that might be overlooked. I seen a few discussions on the matter in certain places, with some interesting suggestions. I thought it might be interesting to ask everyone here what thoughts they have on the matter, so if it's alright, I'll ask:
Who do you reckon should voice certain unvoiced characters in the Toaru series?
Below are some lists of characters which haven't been voiced as of December 2013 and when they were introduced (…Read more >

Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! is an annual light novel guidebook where various light novel series from different publishers and imprints are ranked according to popularity in different aspects, from individual series to characters by gender. I had previous blogged about the 2011 leg of this popularity ranking when Toaru Majutsu no Index received the #1 spot in the series category, with eight of the characters from the light novel series (four males and four females) reaching the Top 30 and the illustrator Haimura Kiyotaka receiving the top spot for the illustrator category.

Hello everyone! The Toaru Majutsu no Index Wiki is going as smoothly as ever, with content and readership steadily flowing through its 1,700+ pages. However, we are once more going to encounter big changes to the wiki, with the release of the fluid layout, replacing the one we have for some time now and integrating itself into the default Wikia skin, on December 4 as part of Project Darwin.
This is not the first time we had encountered reworks on the look and feel of wikis under Wikia. We all know that is it almost inevitable that Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator, like it's brethren spin-of series, is going to have a main antagonist/at very least one of Aleister's lackeys.
Now for a brief rogue gallery (well, so far one became good):
Well, I've ranked them by their relevance in the Raildex unified storyline, by their relevance, by my opinion (of course, Aleister always prefers remaining in the sidelines, rarely taking action himself).
Aleister: Anyone who reads just even the info in this wiki, knows why he currently ranks 1st.
Fiamma: Seriously, second best chess master in the series so far, as well for time b…

Hello everyone! It's...me. Long time no seen. I were having a slight hiatus for a while, but I.Am.Back.
At that time, I though again and again whenever I had the chance or had nothing else left to do at the moment about the mysterious Awakened state Mikoto is currently undergoing in the Railgun manga. I personally think that there are 2 (at the very least) possible explanations for this phenomena:
1. This Awakening is forced, so it went to this as it is, a Devil shape. Then again in the Three Abrahamic religions we see that Satan (Iblis in Islam) was once God's most devoted servant at the time (before the human kind's creation, but then...). 2. Tree Diagram meant that only the Main Plan and the Spare Plan could possibly Awaken as Angels, due …Read more >

As You Know, Aleister Crowley , the founder of Academy City, is based off a real person. What you might not know is that not just Crowley himself, but the Liber Al Vel Legis (Book of the Law), the angelic being Aiwass who dictated it, and the concepts of the Aeon of Osiris and Aeon of Horus all originate from the religion, Thelema, a real-world religious philosophy founded by the real-life Aleister. This goes far beyond being a mere Genius Bonus within the Index series and actually resides at the root of the themes that drive the series as a whole. Keep in mind my understanding of real-life Thelema is limited to a perusal of the relevant Wikipedia pages and most of my conjectures come from interpretations of the text of the novel series it…Read more >
Academy City isn't a city of science and technology, it's a gilded cage for the army of level fives they're attempting to produce in order to make the world their plaything, led by a regime so cruel as to make the Warhammer 40000 universe look like the home of Amnesty International. Logic on this is supported by several things:
- The cover-up of the Parameter List and the implication that they knew Misaka Mikoto would be a level 5.
- The willingness to lock up Takitsubo Rikou due to her "academy individual" potential, as well as the fact that they entered World War III specifically to unlock it, all so that they could create an army of level 5's and cull what the helmeted board director called "unnecessary abilities" (i.e, anything not related to…
Hi there. It's me (yet again).
I've had a hunch for a while now about Number Six and the popular theory about Aogami Pierce, and I simply must put it in words so that others consider this.
OK, most fans think Number Six=Aogami Pierce (would explain why Aogami is the only recurring classmate of Touma that isn't involved in the Magic versus Science confrontation (not even Daihasei Festival), just as Number Six is yet to be shown). But, have you ever considered that a Kihara might be #6? Railgun shows that just about any Kihara can be an Esper, yet still be a psychopath and consider Espers 'lab animals'.
