Arc Daniels (アーク＝ダニエルス Āku Danierusu?) is a character introduced in Shinyaku Toaru Majutsu no Index. He is a helmsman based in the Third Base of Pearl Harbor.

Hawaii Invasion Arc[]

He along with his colleagues, are the first responders to the crash landing of a cargo plane that was hijacked from Pearl Harbor by Saronia A. Irivika. Here, he rescues President of the United States, Roberto Katze, along with the injured pilot and two Japanese teenagers, Kamijou Touma and Misaka Mikoto.[1]
They are later attacked by Narwhal missiles, and Arc was forced to abandon ship as well as others. Here, Roberto discuss the most likely culprit and the possibility of an invasion via mercenaries. It can be assumed that Arc Daniels and the unit accompanying the rescue returned with the pilot with patrolling forces in the main roads, while the President, Touma and Mikoto escaped.[2]
