Alfar is part of the supporting cast of the sidestory of Toaru Majutsu no Index released as an additional feature on the DVD and Bluray format of Toaru Kagaku no Railgun.
Her case is similar to Himegami Aisa's Deep Blood and she can't control her ability, as a result everything around her is forced to go through what is qualified "distorted evolution". Her ability can affect humans.[1]
She is later given a British Puritan cross to seal out her ability by Necessarius.[1]
